Brock_Chapter6

A key idea from this chapter that suck with me is that lighting is story telling. This concept mainly stuck with me because it talks about how lighting isn't just a technical task, but also a narrative tool. It can serve emotion, tone, and the psychology of the scene. Every lighting choice should be motivated by character, emotion, setting, etc. It isn't just about making something look good, but also telling the story.

This article talks about how lighting should always be in service with the story, and not just an aesthetic choice. It breaks down the four key lighting paramters, placement, quality, instenity, and color.
