Riplee_Chapter3

 In chapter 3 the thing that caught my eye was frame work. Specifically the grid, I used to use a grid when taking photos on my phone but I didn't know why or how to use it so quickly I got annoyed and took it off. After reading this chapter I wouldn't mind adding it back and who knows maybe my photos will actually turn out well and I wont mind posting them to Instagram.

The video above focuses mainly on working in thirds. I think its a very interesting way to film and truly shows that everything is preplanned and well thought of by the director and camera person. This is definitely something that we all can keep in mind not only while filming but as we watch our favorite movies, just like the book stated you'll never watch films the same way again because you'll mainly just see how they decided to line up shots and what section they decide the character to be set in. It does make me excited for the next film I decided to watch, I'll definitely be focusing a bit more on these little points.
