1. I was most interested in learning about prime vs zoom lenses. This was an elements of camera lenses that I have not come across before. I understand how to film industry could opt for prime lenses even due to their more complex nature. I think personally I would focus on zoom lenses in my own filmmaking but studying prime lenses more would be interesting.

3. I went searching for more information on these particular lenses and how they are used in film. This article gave a lot of detailed but understandable information that covers the many lenses. It also provided well-known examples of each that helped me further tell the advantages of each. The "applications in filmmaking" section also drew connections to the chapter's material and provided alternative explanations.
