1. Chapter 3 is all about composition and I was very intrigued by the camera angle's ability to portray character emotions or intentions. I had overlooked this but as the author went through example of different shots showcasing different messages on the character, I was intrigued. For example, a low-angle shot below the character can portray power and importance while a high-level shot can make the character seem vulnerable or weak. The camera angle can be used to distort the audience's perception of the characters and give us clues to their personality or importance.

3. This article opens up a connection between composition and psychology. I mostly focused on "The Power of Visual Perception and Cinematography Techniques" section which leaned further into why an audience would relate or understand characters on a more emotional level through cinematography efforts. It is in the human psyche to develop an understanding of certain emotions or personalities through camera composition. "Composition techniques, such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and depth of field, help guide the viewer’s eye and create a sense of visual harmony or tension. By carefully framing shots and using camera angles, filmmakers can emphasize certain elements, convey power dynamics between characters, and create a sense of immersion for the audience." This quote immediately jumped out to me as it connected my thoughts to all the elements brought up in Chapter 3.
