 Reading chapter 1 made me realize how many roles there are in just laying the groundwork of a film. If even one person wasn’t hired for a specific job or if they were just slacking it could break a film.

In the video above it gives a basic outline of the jobs and steps taken in the film industry before a camera starts rolling. I think it’s a great starting point to watch and get a better base line understanding of what all goes into play when wanting to start making films. I truly am starting to have a better appreciation for movies especially ones that are classics, ones with great plot lines, and set design that truly immerses the audience because it wasn’t just something that happened to fall in to place it was something that had to be built and altered to make sure everyone could agree on even the audience.
